Fiona is a qualified Life Coach with over 20 years’ experience and co-founder of Shine Coaching.
Since joining forces with Lian in 2016, she has helped shape Shine’s mission to support men in
understanding, navigating, and transforming anger into resilience, clarity, and emotional strength.
Motivated by a deep desire to help people live healthier, more fulfilling lives, Fiona has supported
individuals in a wide range of settings including substance misuse services, suicide prevention,
adult education, antenatal support, and self-defence training.
She is passionate about showing men that anger, often misunderstood and feared, can become a
powerful source of knowledge and growth when approached with curiosity instead of avoidance or
overwhelm. Her coaching blends simple, practical techniques with deeper reflective work to help
clients improve relationships, communication, and emotional regulation.
Outside of Shine, Fiona values spending time with family and friends, baking, learning new crafts
like crochet, and embracing outdoor winter swimming with Lian.
Lian is the co-founder and Operations Director of Shine Coaching, where she leads programme
development, community partnerships, and strategic growth. She is passionate about social change
and ensuring that Shine delivers meaningful, sustainable support to individuals, families, and
organisations.
With a background in youth work and extensive experience across public and third-sector roles,
Lian specialises in Personal Development & Growth, Confidence Building, Self-Esteem, Mindset
Shifting, Emotional Resilience, Hypnotherapy, and IEMT. She is committed to raising awareness of
men’s mental health, suicide prevention, and anger-related issues.
A certified Life Coach, Lian blends coaching techniques with motivational strategies to empower
clients to break through barriers, achieve meaningful goals, and create lasting positive change.
Her collaborative approach ensures Shine remains innovative and client-focused.
Outside of her work at Shine, Lian enjoys walking and outdoor swimming with Fiona, always embracing
the wellbeing benefits of nature and community.
Stacy joined Shine Coaching in 2020 after qualifying as a Health & Life Coach in 2017. Having
experienced first-hand the benefits of coaching for emotional regulation, stress, anxiety, health
issues, and challenging work environments, Stacy is passionate about supporting others to experience
similar transformation.
Her health coaching expertise brings additional value to clients seeking to create healthier habits
and lifestyle changes alongside emotional growth. Stacy is also a certified Nature & Health
Facilitator, Learning & Development Practitioner, and is currently training to become a Yoga
Teacher,continuously expanding the tools she brings to her practice.
At Shine, Stacy offers 1:1 coaching, runs webinars, and designs training courses to support our
client community through a variety of learning approaches. She is committed to empowering others
with practical tools, self-awareness, and positive lifestyle shifts.
In her free time, Stacy enjoys running, walking, painting, spending time with family and friends,
and balancing her wellbeing routines with a growing yoga practice.
Jan is a devoted coach, leadership & culture facilitator, trainer, and Mental Health First Aider
with over 25 years’ experience supporting people through life’s challenges. Her solutions-focused
approach empowers clients to build resilience, strengthen self-belief, and take confident steps
toward meaningful, lasting change.
Warm, adaptable, and deeply supportive, Jan tailors her approach to each individual, using a range
of tools to help clients develop emotional awareness, make considered decisions, and reframe
challenges with clarity and confidence. She helps individuals uncover root causes, overcome
insecurities, and move forward with hope and purpose.
A Fellow of the AfC and Member of the CIPD, Jan has extensive experience in employment law, people
development, career planning, relationship challenges and team culture across private and non-profit
sectors.
Outside of coaching, Jan cherishes time with her family, enjoys cruising, and adores her spirited
Dachshunds, who she happily admits have her wrapped around their little paws.
Hayley has been a qualified Hypnotherapist since 2007 and EMDR Therapist since 2008, specialising
in trauma, addiction, anxiety, and emotional wellbeing. She joined Shine in 2020 and brings a
compassionate, grounded, and trauma-informed approach to supporting clients in emotional regulation
and recovery.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Hayley has completed training in Breathwork Coaching,
Mindfulness, and is currently completing an Advanced Psychotherapy qualification. Her dedication
ensures clients benefit from evidence-based therapeutic tools and tailored support.
With a background in corporate estate agency as a Sales and Lettings Manager, Hayley understands the
pressures of high-demand working environments and the impact they can have on wellbeing. She combines
her professional experience with natural empathy to help clients manage stress, cultivate calm, and
feel emotions safely.
Beyond work, Hayley enjoys spending time with family and friends and values wellbeing as a daily
practice.
Gill joined Shine Coaching in 2021, inspired by the impactful community-focused work supporting men
with anger and emotional wellbeing. With over 20 years’ experience working across public, charity,
and housing sectors, she integrates coaching into both organisational support and community
empowerment.
She is a qualified coach and Mental Health First Aider with extensive experience helping individuals
overcome life-limiting behaviours, build confidence, and achieve personal goals. Gill believes
strongly that everyone has the power to change, and she uses proven techniques to help clients
overcome obstacles and unlock their potential.
Gill is also committed to supporting workplace mental health and offers Mental Health First Aid
support to organisations without in-house provision.Outside of coaching, Gill enjoys spending time
with family, walking her dogs, and exploring new food experiences.
Eva is an Accredited Coach with the Association for Coaching and has over 18 years’ experience in
Executive and Life Coaching. An NLP Practitioner, Coaching Supervisor, Psychodynamic Counsellor and
registered Social Worker, she brings a rich blend of therapeutic and coaching skills to support
emotional growth and meaningful change.
Eva works in a solution-focused and relational way, creating a safe space for individuals to build
confidence, develop clarity, and take positive steps toward their goals. Her approach empowers
clients to unlock their potential and thrive in both personal and professional contexts.
With a background in charity leadership, Eva has worked with national and international
organisations supporting individuals facing homelessness, involvement in the criminal justice
system, substance misuse, family challenges, disability, and mental health issues. She is deeply
driven to help people flourish regardless of circumstances or background.
Outside of work, Eva enjoys travelling, meeting new people, and has recently taken up improv acting,
embracing the creativity, challenge, and joy it brings.
Sarah is a qualified coach with a strong passion for helping men understand and manage their anger,
making her a great fit for the Shine team.
She is a Chartered Manager and Mental Health First Aider, with over 20 years’ experience in public
sector leadership and environmental regulation. Throughout her career, she has been deeply committed
to developing individuals and teams by recognising their unique strengths, valuing difference, and
cultivating inclusive environments where people can thrive.
Sarah brings this ethos to her coaching practice, grounded in the belief that everyone has the
capacity to grow, adapt, and create positive change in their lives. She offers a safe, supportive
space for reflection, empowering individuals to identify and move forwards with confidence and
clarity. Using a range of tools and techniques, Sarah’s approach helps clients develop emotional
intelligence, uncover limiting beliefs and behaviours, reframe challenges, and make sustainable
progress toward meaningful change.
Outside of work, she enjoys having fun with family and friends, being outdoors in nature, exploring
new ideas, and connecting with people through shared curiosity and a love of learning and growth.
