These drawings are a bit old (they start from May 10). I've tried to gaze deep into the past and say something about each of them.
When I was younger, I compulsively drew very small. As I get older, I draw bigger and bigger, which is why it took me a whole page to draw this from a stamp-sized book jacket portrait. Unfortunate side-effect: Blowing images up usually results in a reduction of image quality.
This is the first picture in a new sketchbook. It's from Semikolon; I decided it was stupid and trendist to keep buying Moleskines when they're so much more expensive than other books.

I must have drawn this when I did the draw-yourself-at-[X]-age meme. I think this must be around age 13-14.

Upper left: A lot of the time, if I don't have any ideas, I draw little doughy Goya-like monster figures. This isn't quite one of them (too much detail in the face) but it's similar. I think he's a baker. I was probably listening to this song. (The song starts from 0:25.)
Lower right: Hee! I drew a picture of myself wearing a dress I wanted but didn't think I would be able to own in reality. It was like free therapy. It must not have made me want the dress any less, though, because later I went back and bought it.

The back of the same dress and someone I saw in St. Oberholz.

I have nothing to say about this. :(

I thought I should draw more backgrounds. Then I thought drawing some lines could be considered a background ... an abstract background.

I think I saw this person on a streetstyle blog but don't remember which.

And finally, though this will ruin the chronological procession I had going on in this blog, here's a picture I drew today. It's also a self-portrait (but that doesn't mean I used a photo or mirror for reference). I think it looks kind of Russian!

I don't understand how you can see someone somewhere, and then draw them (later?) in such detail. Do you draw while you can still see them, or just have a good memory for detail?
Either way... I really like these, doodle-style or not. And I recognize that dress! I can't decide if it's cooler in RL or in drawn form. :)

Um, I drew that guy very quickly with a highlighter while staring at him like a creeper from across the room. He was far enough away that I don't think he noticed; I don't draw from life much because I think the subjects would find it weird. I can't draw people from memory very well (as should be obvious from when people who aren't me appear in my comic ... ), though practice helps.
I'm glad you like them! And I still love that dress. I don't want to wear anything else but kind of feel like, sigh, I should.

(Streetstyle blog lady: also awesome. I am so jealous of your ability to draw clothes.)
