Below is the answer to where we left off last time: 6/2(1+2) = ?
The answer is 9.
It would be different if I asked you to simplify 6/[2(1+2)], in which case the answer is 1.
Let's try a harder one with algebra (though still linear). Solve for X: 2X - 8(X + 1/2) = 0
