Stefano Nardon

Biography

Stefano Nardon (1996) is an Italian pianist, composer and music producer from Vicenza, active in the contemporary jazz scene. He began studying music at a very young age and later specialized in jazz piano at the “A. Steffani” Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto. His education was further enriched by prestigious programs such as the Umbria Jazz Berklee Clinics, the Merano Jazz Seminars, and the Treviso Suona Jazz workshop, where he was awarded a scholarship.

Alongside his academic path, he has developed a strong commitment to music education, teaching piano in various institutions across the Veneto region, including early childhood education settings. He works with students of different ages and backgrounds, promoting an approach based on curiosity, listening, and personal growth.

In parallel with his teaching activity, he has built an active artistic career, initially performing in a fusion/jazz group and later developing his own project focused on composition, arrangement, and live performance. With these projects, he has released two albums and three EPs, shaping a musical language that blends jazz tradition with contemporary sounds.

His artistic vision combines creativity, research, and collaboration—values that define both his music production and his approach to education and teamwork.

The record features two jazz-infused broken beat compositions, performed and recorded live, capturing an intimate and organic session feel.

On the A side, “Mangrovia” unfolds as a warm, floating piece built around Fender Rhodes textures, subtle harmonies and a slow-burning groove. A deep and immersive cut, balancing between jazz lounge aesthetics and cinematic mood.

The B side, “Underwater”, was created in collaboration with drummer Stefano Cosi (Padova). His live drum contribution adds movement and depth, giving the track a more dynamic pulse while maintaining the introspective character of the release.

Stefano Nardon’s debut EP, Eclipse, is a captivating journey through jazz, atmospheric depth, and boundless creativity. As a pianist and producer, Nardon masterfully blends new jazz influences with rich sonic textures, crafting an immersive experience.

The EP opens with Hourglass, featuring Stefano Cosi, where vibrant flute melodies intertwine with intricate drum patterns. Shadow layers deep, evocative pads with expressive keys, while the title track bridges his roots with innovation.

Night Fall fuses jazz and ambient atmospheres, leading to a serene closing collaboration with Colosimo. Eclipse isn’t just a collection of songs – it’s a statement.


Oasi

The album features a fresh and playful sound, blending R&B, soul, and jazz. It represents a journey into an inner world where the artist seeks peace, inclusion, and self-acceptance.

Within this imagined oasis, dreams and emotions feel real, but over time he realizes he is drifting, like a wanderer searching for a place to belong. The track Thunder acts as a sudden awakening, bringing him back to reality and guiding him home, following a path of memory and experience.

This becomes a symbolic journey through his past, reflecting on the music that has shaped him. He understands his personal growth and recognizes that many fears and illusions exist only in the mind.

In the end, he reaches a clear awareness: music, nature, and love are his true oasis—a space of calm that allows him to live peacefully within the world.
