We always wonder what’s next. Driven by curiosity and ambition, we explore new possibilities in creative coding, motion, sound, AI and create proprietary tech tools ourselves. Only by looking ahead, we can create the best solutions in the now.

We're a team

We are a group of individual characters that enjoy working together. We have a common spirit that we hold dear. The studio is formed by a diverse group of nationalities, personalities, and specialists; from creative coders to sound designers, project managers, motion designers, strategists and visual designers. Collaboration is at the core of how we work, in the studio and together with clients.

We don't have a client profile

There is no typical Studio Dumbar client. We work for a variety of clients, from leading global tech companies, to local businesses, NGOs, governments, non-profit organisations and cultural institutes. What they all share, is the passion to make a difference. The result is reflected in the professional recognition for the work; internationally, Studio Dumbar is one of the most award winning studios. 

We share work and ideas

We love to share ideas with the design community. We’re invited to speak at conferences and lead workshops around the globe. Being part of the design community also means supporting and sharing - We are initiators and organisers of DEMO Design in Motion Festival, the largest motion festival showcasing the best work from designers around the world for 24hrs on 5,000 digital OOH screens in the Netherlands.
