Writing

I haven't written a single new thing this week. I did update stuff on my website, but for the rest my words stayed silent. Then yesterday my fiction idea started to talk to me again so I guess words are starting to come again?

Creating

I'm close to finishing a spencer/top/sleeveless thingamajig :) I love it. And I'm also working on a new set of fingerless gloves, because I need them all around the house.

Reading

My goal for 2026 is 52 books, and I'm currently at 6. I'm no longer tracking my reading progress online, but I will not stop chattering about it if I really like a book I've read.

Listening

I post my Crucial Tracks almost daily, catching up for days I've forgotten to post at on a regular basis. I also love to browse Bandcamp and have found a lot of favourites through it. Also on Bandcamp? Here’s my profile.

I'm also listening to audiobooks when I do a jigsaw puzzle. So much fun :) Current audiobooks: The Fellowship of the Ring by JRR Tolkien. Andy Sirkis is doing so well at these audiobooks. Also adored the one for the Hobbit. (I get my audiobooks through libro fm by the way)

Analog tools

A couple of fountain pens: a platinum preppy, a parker jotter, a pilot vanishing point and a purple schneider one I found for dirt cheap. Oh, and a platinum desk pen for doodling. The advantage of using multiple is that when I get cramped hands with the one pen, I can switch to the other.
A bright purple filofax for planning and lists etc
A passport TN for journaling, scrap journaling and doodles and such. (I will probably write a blog post when I've added the thing I need to add. I have bought 240 page inserts for it because I tend to blab (I write teeny tiny most of the time so the size is actually good)
A regular TN that lives in my office for when I really want to scribble a lot of pages :)
A pencil case filled with all sorts of random things I grab for a lot.

made a new logo with a purple font and I liked that better so I added it.

Other random things

I'm massively decluttering my office. It's unbelievable how much stuff I have even after a massive declutter last year.
