The TEACCH Autism Program is a statewide, university-based system that provides clinical services, training, and research to support autistic individuals and their families across the lifespan. Founded in 1972, it operates seven regional centers in North Carolina and offers specialized programs for employment and adult living.
Services include diagnostic evaluations, therapy, parent coaching, and transition support to promote communication, independence, and quality of life, alongside professional training in Structured TEACCHing and research on effective real-world interventions.
