Teamwars Terms of Service
09.03.20262.1. Scope
This text explains the rules for using TEAMWARS Services, tournament processes, and the rights and obligations of the parties. By using the teamwars.pro website and/or becoming a member of this site, you have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions stated below. If you do not find the stated terms suitable, please do not use our site.
2.2. Contracting party (location-based)
- For users residing in Turkey: service provider/contracting party: TEAMWARS E-SPOR TEKNOLOJİ A.Ş. (Turkey Office)
- For users residing outside Turkey: service provider/contracting party: Revora Labs L.L.C-FZ (Head Office).
The country of residence declared at registration is taken as basis; incorrect declarations may affect compliance processes.
2.3. Compliance and account
- To use the Platform you must be at least 13 years old (if your country has a higher age limit, that applies).
- The accuracy of your account information and the security of your account (passwords/verification codes, etc.) are your responsibility.
- All players must verify their email address when registering on the site.
- Phone verification / name-surname / address data may be mandatory only in selected processes (rewards/payments/compliance); if not required, not requested.
- All players must consent to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy when registering on the site. If explicit consent is not provided, you will not be able to become a member of the site.
2.4. Tournaments and competition processes
- The tournament format, registration periods, reporting, and penalties are announced separately on the tournament page.
- Cheating, abuse, toxic behavior, or violation of rules may result in removal from the tournament, cancellation of rewards, and account restriction/ban.
2.5. Third-party game services / publisher rules
The Platform may be integrated with different games and third-party services. In these integrations:
- Only the minimum data necessary to provide the service is used.
- Rules of integrated publishers/providers (APIs/tournaments/branding, etc.) may apply.
- Necessary branding/citation/notice texts appear within the product.
- Integration does not imply that the publishers have approved or sponsor TEAMWARS.
2.6. B2B analytics and insights services
- TEAMWARS may provide analytical insights and trend reports to corporate clients (e.g., esports teams, organizers, sponsors, media/analytic firms).
- Personal data is not sold. Corporate reports are designed to be as anonymous/aggregated as possible.
2.7. Talent discovery / scouting & brokerage
- Private contact details (email/phone) are not shared with third parties without the player's explicit consent.
- Corporate parties may send players a "contact request" via the Platform.
- TEAMWARS forwards this request to the player; if the player consents, the discussion begins. If the player does not consent, no information is shared.
- This feature may be offered as a "introduction/brokerage" service; if any fees/commission terms exist, they will be clearly disclosed beforehand.
2.8. Liabilities and responsibilities
Trademarks, trade names, headings, logos, graphics, patterns, visuals, overall appearance, texts, and all other materials used on the website are owned by TEAMWARS and are legally protected. Therefore, none of the texts or visuals listed above may be used without prior permission on the website and its extensions.
If the website links to sites/websites not owned by TEAMWARS, TEAMWARS has no legal/administrative/criminal or any other responsibility for the content or links on those sites. The risk arising from accessing linked sites is entirely the user's responsibility.
TEAMWARS bears no responsibility for interruptions, deletion, loss, delays in processing, computer viruses, unauthorized access to records, theft, alteration or use of records for any reason.
If erroneous, incomplete, or misleading information contrary to general ethical rules and public order and Turkish laws is entered into our site or its operating system, or if there is an attempt to alter or delete site content, the user's access to our site may be blocked. TEAMWARS reserves all legal rights, including the right to terminate the contract unilaterally, against persons and institutions involved in such activities.
The user has no right to share their login and password or to access and use other users' information. The user is responsible for any damages arising from such actions. All users agree not to use illegal programs, third-party programs, cheats, image enhancement programs, or bugs. Any legal/administrative/criminal responsibility arising from such usage will be the user's responsibility.
The user agrees, declares, and undertakes to act in accordance with the notices and all legal regulations related to the services provided by TEAMWARS when using the site, and that any violation will incur legal, criminal, and administrative liability.
The user may not use the site for purposes that violate public morality, disturb public order, or violate laws.
If TEAMWARS determines that the user has not complied with the general rules indicated on the site, TEAMWARS may suspend or terminate the user's access to the site and terminate the contract unilaterally.
The user acknowledges and undertakes that TEAMWARS may claim any damages it incurs due to the user's breach of this contract and that the user is liable for any compensation and/or administrative/legal fines that may be required to be paid to public institutions or third parties due to the user's breach.
The user's correspondence with TEAMWARS is the sole responsibility of the user; TEAMWARS cannot be held liable for deletion or loss of these communications.
If the user terminates their account, TEAMWARS reserves the right to delete the account information. The user has no right to claim any rights or compensation in this case.
Although TEAMWARS has taken measures to ensure the site contains no viruses or similar software, users must still obtain protection software to provide final protection. By accessing the site, the user bears responsibility for any damage to their own software and operating system.
TEAMWARS reserves the right to unilaterally modify these contract terms, suspend services provided to users permanently or temporarily, or change content, and will publish any changes on the site. Updated terms become effective once published on the site.
TEAMWARS may disclose personal data when required by law to comply with legal obligations and/or to protect TEAMWARS's rights and property, and may do so within the bounds of honesty.
The ideas and thoughts expressed by users on the site are entirely the users' personal views and bind the owner of the view. TEAMWARS bears no responsibility for damages that may be suffered by third parties due to the ideas and views stated by the user, nor for damages that the user may suffer due to third parties' statements.
If it is determined that the user's activities violate this contract, the contract may be terminated unilaterally by TEAMWARS without notice.
Both parties acknowledge and declare that all computer records belonging to TEAMWARS will be treated as the sole and true evidence, and will be relied upon in accordance with applicable law, and that these records constitute an evidentiary agreement.
2.9. Governing law and competent authority (location-based)
- For users residing in Turkey: Turkish law applies; Istanbul courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction (mandatory consumer provisions preserved).
- For users residing outside Turkey: UAE (Dubai) law applies; Dubai courts have jurisdiction (mandatory provisions in the user's country preserved).
- For corporate (B2B) contracts, arbitration/competence clauses may be arranged.
2.10. Communications and Notifications
TEAMWARS may communicate with users through the following channels to enable service delivery and healthy tournament operations: in-app notifications, email, SMS, WhatsApp, and, if necessary, phone calls.
Unless changes to existing contact information are immediately notified to the other party in writing via the website, notices to old contact channels will be considered valid and binding.
- Mandatory notices related to the service: account security, verification, tournament registration/lobby information, time changes/cancellations, reward/payment processes, support requests, and misconduct reviews may be communicated. These notices may be sent at the frequency deemed appropriate by TEAMWARS.
- WhatsApp (critical tournament operations communications): WhatsApp may be used only for (i) tournaments you have joined/registered for and (ii) tournaments you have chosen to follow for critical operational updates (e.g., lobby information, time changes, cancellations, rule violations, reward processing). WhatsApp is not used for promotions or general marketing. Notification permissions manage automatic announcements; when necessary for tournament operations, manual WhatsApp messages may be sent to team captains via the Platform.
- To avoid missing critical information, you should regularly check your in-app notifications; if needed, information will be communicated via the fastest channel (e.g., WhatsApp/SMS/email).
- Promotions and general announcements: New tournament announcements, campaigns, and general content are sent via email and/or SMS only to the extent you have granted the relevant communication permission. You can change these permissions at any time from Account Settings.
- Organizer communications: Tournament organizers may communicate with players via the Platform for tournament management. Private contact details (phone/email) are not shared with organizers without the player's explicit consent; TEAMWARS will convey the request to the player and, with the player's consent, facilitate the communication.
