ABOUT THE DJ WORKSHOP

The DJ Workshop was founded in 2012 by international DJ, Hayley Kennedy. Having entertained crowds for the best and coolest brands around the world, Hayley decided to share her knowledge and experience to aspiring DJ’s from all backgrounds looking for a place to get started. 

Self-taught and learning her craft on the London Pirate Radio scene, Hayley went on to present shows on RADIO and guest show on BBC 1XTRA. 

She has been a regular on the scene across the UK playing at the hottest clubs and festivals for the biggest events and brands. 

When Hayley isn’t playing live, she has curated music programs for some of the worlds most famous fashion brands and retail stores including; Selfridges, Harrods and Harvey Nichols and hosting live events at at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

I want everyone to have the confidence and access to the resources they need to be a DJ. This was something that wasn’t available to me when I first brought my turntables, and it wasn’t easy, and it should be!

Mostly importantly it should be fun. Music is for everyone and such a huge part of our lives, learning how to DJ can be an exciting way to express our passion for sound old and new. Being a DJ has changed my life and I want to share that.
