Hi, I’m Jens Andersen, a game developer and creative director with over 20 years of experience making games.
I’m currently developing The Endless Night, an urban fantasy roguelite deck-builder about spell combos, civilian rescue, cultists, monsters, and stopping an Avatar of Darkness before the city falls.
The game is a love letter to things I care about deeply: urban fantasy, tactical card combat, roguelite deck-builders, and games built around that “just one more run” feeling.
I’m building The Endless Night in open development. There is a free demo available now, and the full Early Access build includes the complete three-act run and boss fight. I’m actively looking for feedback from players as I continue improving the game’s balance, clarity, pacing, UI, music, and overall feel.
I’m also interested in what modern solo development can look like. The Endless Night is built in Lua using Love2D, with AI-assisted tools used as part of my workflow for code, art, music, and sound.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you’ll give the demo a try.
