🏥 Healthcare – No One Should Go Broke to Stay Alive
Two years ago, I had major brain surgery for a non-cancerous growth. But fighting for my life also meant fighting my insurance for coverage. No parent should have to tell their child they may not be there tomorrow, but will always love them while struggling to pay for the operation. That experience changed me, and it made clear just how broken our healthcare system has become.
For too long, our healthcare system has prioritized corporate profits over people. I support moving toward Medicare for All that guarantees coverage for every American. Under this approach, eligible individuals would be automatically enrolled, and basic healthcare costs would be covered without burdensome deductibles, premiums, or co-pays.
This system would build on and expand the gains made under the Affordable Care Act while preserving access to private insurance for those who want it. Every American should have guaranteed healthcare coverage.
At the same time, we cannot wait for broader reform to take action.
We should continue improving the system now by creating a strong public option built on existing Medicare infrastructure to increase competition and lower costs for working families. Families with lower incomes should have access to affordable plans, including options with little to no monthly premiums. Greater competition in the insurance market would help drive down costs and improve coverage for everyone.
We also must protect and strengthen the programs people already rely on. I will defend the Affordable Care Act, oppose cuts to Medicaid, and work to expand access so families can get the care they need without risking bankruptcy.
It is also time to end price gouging and hold Big Pharma accountable. I support allowing Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices directly and increasing oversight of pharmaceutical companies that profit gouge.
Finally, I support expanding Medicare coverage to include dental, hearing, and vision care because healthcare should treat the whole person, not just part of the problem.
⚖️ Ending Corruption – Holding Government Officials Accountable
At a time when the Trump Administration is insider trading, creating slush funds to pay off supporters, and using every lever of government to enrich themselves we need to enact strict reforms to protect against continued abuse.
I’m running for Congress because we need leaders who answer to voters, not to special interests.
I support banning members of Congress and the Executive branch from trading stocks, overturning Citizens United, strengthening campaign finance transparency laws, and closing the revolving door between government and lobbying firms. I also support stricter ethics rules for elected officials and judges so no one is above accountability.
Our government should work for families trying to afford healthcare, housing, and groceries, not wealthy insiders looking for tax breaks and special treatment. Restoring trust in government starts with ending corruption and putting power back where it belongs: with the people.
💸 The Economy – Building Fairness and Abundance
The ladder we were promised is being pulled up. The American dream is simply unaffordable for an ever-increasing number of us. In the Phoenix metro, home prices are up 50% since 2020. Median rent has risen by a quarter in Phoenix and has doubled in Scottsdale. Grocery costs are up by nearly a third. Health insurance premiums have increased by 10% to 22% Incomes aren’t even close to keeping up. Megacorporations make record profits while you and I pay more for everything. I built a small business from an idea in my living room to a 100+ person company with above-market wages and benefits and equity for every single employee. I know that if we structure things right, we can have the incredible benefits of enterprise while investing in people and generating prosperity for everyone. The only answer Republicans in DC can offer is tax cuts for billionaires—and cut health care and exploding budget deficits for the rest of us. Those budget deficits are now being measured in the many trillions of dollars: a guarantee that in the near future we will see grinding inflation, raised interest rates, slower growth, and more cut services. We need to cut the bullshit. No more needless tax cuts for the wealthiest people in the world. No more cuts to critical services. And no more corporate capture and ill-thought-out regulations that choke off supply and drive up prices. In Congress, I will restore the cut programs, ensure that billionaires pay their fair share, and force reforms to end high prices and secure abundance for all of us
🌱 The Environment – Defending What Sustains Us
Take a walk in the Tonto National Forest here in our congressional district, or head over to the Grand Canyon and stare out over the rim. You will see incredible natural wonders on display—rocks, water, and living creatures that we are inextricably connected with and depend on for survival. You will also see an economic engine: outdoor recreation generates $11.7 billion for Arizona’s economy and supports over 106,000 jobs. True things are always worth repeating: we depend on our environment. That is especially obvious here in Arizona, where we have to address limited water supplies, our desert habitats, the cleanliness of our air and water, and a changing climate. We can balance our need for development with our need to protect the only environment we have. The company I built has a long track record of emphasizing sustainability, and I can assure you: we can make this work. But Republicans are cutting off our nose to spite our face. Republicans have voted to repeal crucial tax credits powering the economy of tomorrow and building out the clean energy resources we need to stop climate change. He votes against conserving public lands, keeping our water clean, and protecting wildlife. I have taken the no fossil fuels money pledge. I will not be beholden to oil executives. I will fight for our rivers, forests, parks, endangered species, and healthy air and water. In Congress, I will push to restore key environmental legislation like the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund and Methane Emissions Reduction Program initially passed in the Inflation Reduction Act.
🗳️ Democracy – Protecting the Vote and our Freedom
Democracy is the great gift of our predecessors and the United States Constitution. It really is the foundation of our liberty and must be safeguarded. Every problem we face as a country is a problem we can and must use democracy to solve, so I am dedicated to ensuring that our democracy and voting rights are protected. That’s why, when COVID-19 and Republicans combined to create barriers to voting in Texas in 2020, my small business stepped up to provide free printing of voter registration forms and mail-in ballot applications across that state. We saw that something as basic as not having access to a printer could prevent citizens from exercising their fundamental right to vote. I wanted to make sure they could. It is clear to me how structural barriers can be put up to disenfranchise voters, and how essential it is for leaders to proactively push back. In Congress, I will champion restoring the Voting Rights Act by updating the coverage formula, support the Freedom to Vote Act, and fight against restrictive legislation like the SAVE Act that would create unnecessary barriers to voter registration. I believe we must modernize our election infrastructure while maintaining security, expand early voting and mail-in ballot access, and ensure that every eligible American can participate in our democracy.
🌎 Immigration – Practical, Decent, Done Right
Arizona knows the wonderful advantages and very real costs of our border with Mexico. We know firsthand that our immigration system is broken. We need a secure border. We also need a functional, humane process that respects families, supports our economy, and reflects our values. Every facet of the current system is broken. Legal immigration is slow, unfair, and hobbles our economic competitiveness. Illegal immigration overwhelms services, and can struggle to properly integrate newcomers with existing communities. But the policies the Trump administration offers here are utterly at odds with our values. We do not need or want to abuse children or place immigrants in foreign prison camps without trial or the ability to appeal. I support modernizing legal immigration, protecting Dreamers, and investing in smart border technology. I oppose the chaos and cruelty of federal policy today. Immigrants power Arizona’s economy, and it’s time for immigration policies that meet our security needs, our standards, and our shared humanity.
🔴 Reproductive Rights – Because It’s Your Life, Not Theirs
The right to control your own body is fundamental. And under attack. Politicians are inserting themselves into the most personal decisions a person can make: banning abortion, threatening doctors, and laying the groundwork to go after contraception and IVF. Arizona is no exception. We won a real victory with the repeal of the 1864 ban and the passage of Proposition 139. But the fight isn’t over. Every aspect of our reproductive lives is up for debate and legislation, according to Republicans in Congress. I believe that decisions about pregnancy should be made by patients and their doctors. Not politicians in DC. I will fight to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade nationwide, to pass federal safeguards for reproductive healthcare, and to stop the relentless effort to roll back our freedoms. That includes protecting access to abortion, contraception, IVF, and accurate medical information. If you don’t have control over your own body, you aren’t free. It’s that simple.
📚 Education & Universal Child Care – Investing in the Next Generation
I’m a public school dad. I’ve seen up close how hard our teachers work and the struggle to support our kids with inadequate resources. I believe every child in Arizona should have access to a great public education. But Arizona ranks near the bottom in per-student spending, and Republicans in Congress are making it worse. Republicans voted to slash support for special education, underfund teacher training and low-income schools, and gut Pell Grants. Those are votes for fewer resources, larger class sizes, and burnt-out teachers. I’ll fight to fully fund Title I and II and IDEA, expand access to Pell Grants and career training, and protect the Department of Education’s ability to support our schools.
But we need to do more.
Too many parents are being forced to choose between building a career and caring for their kids because childcare costs are simply too high. No family should have to spend a second mortgage payment just to make sure their child is safe and cared for while they work.
I support creating a universal childcare system that guarantees every family access to affordable, high quality childcare and early childhood education regardless of income or ZIP code. That means expanding access to pre-K and increasing support for childcare providers so workers are paid fair wages and classrooms are properly staffed.
We should cap childcare costs for working families, expand tax credits for parents, and invest in new childcare centers especially in underserved communities where access is limited.
Universal childcare is not just about helping parents. It improves educational outcomes for children, strengthens our workforce, and grows the economy by allowing more Americans to fully participate in it. For every dollar we invest in childcare our economy sees seven dollars in growth. Every child deserves a strong start, and every parent deserves the peace of mind that comes with knowing their family is supported.
💡 Innovation – Building a Future-Focused Economy
I built a company from my living room into a national leader in smart amenities. Arizona has always been a place where bold ideas take root. We should be leading the next wave of American innovation. I support investments that strengthen our economy and help us to compete globally. We need to lead on clean energy, semiconductors, responsible AI development, and biotechnology. Plus, emerging technologies like blockchain and cryptocurrency which, if regulated wisely, can reduce financial friction, increase transparency, and unlock new opportunities for small businesses and consumers alike. But Republicans keep voting against the future. Republicans backed bills to gut clean energy investments, opposed semiconductor funding, slashed research budgets, and supported Trump’s proposed cuts to the NIH and other science programs. He’s even backed tariffs that make it harder to manufacture here at home. We don’t have to live in the past. I’ll fight to restore and expand clean energy and manufacturing incentives, protect NIH and science funding, support the CHIPS and Science Act, and pass smart, accountable rules for emerging technologies. We can have real AI safety standards and guardrails on social media to protect ourselves and our kids. Arizona can lead the way if we say yes to the future.
🧭 Tribal Sovereignty – Honoring Commitments to Indigenous Nations
Arizona is home to 22 sovereign tribal nations. Two tribal reservations, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, are located right here in our district. Their voices and rights must be respected in every federal decision that touches them. That means regular consultation with tribal leadership, concrete federal investment in priorities like health, housing, and water, and a real commitment to honoring sovereignty. I believe in strengthening government-to-government relationships and ensuring tribes have the autonomy to control their own futures and a partner in the US government to help shape our shared one. The federal government needs to respect tribal land and water rights, fully fund the Indian Health Service, invest in education, roads, broadband, and clean energy infrastructure, and support small business development and job training. Republicans in Congress consistently voted for federal budgets that shortchanged the IHS, stalled infrastructure investment, and neglected our legal and moral responsibilities to our tribal partners. I will take a different approach. I will listen, learn, and work with tribal governments to deliver lasting progress.
🪖 Military & Veterans – Living up to our Promise
Our promise to veterans must be more than words. Congress has a responsibility to support our veterans who sacrifice so much for our nation. In Congress, I will work to modernize the VA system by investing in technology, including expanded telehealth services and reforms guided by veterans’ lived experiences. We must fully staff our hospitals and clinics to reduce wait times, improve access to care, and set stronger standards for quality of care.
One active duty service member takes their own life every day, and a veteran dies by suicide every hour. We must treat mental health with the same urgency and care as physical wounds in moments of crisis, but we must also invest in research to establish long-term care protocols to respond to service member’s mental health needs well in advance of a crisis.
As we expand support for service members and veterans, we cannot forget their families. When I started my company, I made a deliberate effort to hire veterans and their family members. We must prioritize expanding employment and career development opportunities for military families through career training and certification programs so that more companies hire from this community.
💸 Anti-Trust – Protecting Our Marketplace
As someone who founded my own small business I know how hard it can be to get started. A healthy economy depends on fair competition, open opportunity, and rules that prevent excessive concentration of power.
Too many industries from technology and healthcare to agriculture and housing have become dominated by a few powerful players, driving up costs, limiting innovation, and squeezing small businesses. I will strengthen antitrust enforcement, block mergers that concentrate power, and give regulators the tools and resources they need to ensure markets remain competitive. We need to protect consumers, empower workers, support entrepreneurs, and keep our economy fair and open to opportunity for everyone.
