"Generation" is the second track featured on Acid Angel from Asia's first mini album, ACCESS. It serves as the album's title track.
Description[]
"Generation" is a song about a girl from the current generation who loves taking selfies and TikTok/Instagram without putting down her cellphone wherever she goes. The song and accompanying music video depicts the way the 'first generation' played, where the boundaries between the online self and the real self blurred. Through the brass sections and addictive, catchy chorus you get an 'acid taste' which is neither sweet nor salty. EL CAPITXN and Vendors (Nano), who worked on songs from artists such as IU and BTS were the main composers and arrangers for the piece, alongside lyric composition with Jaden Jeong. Choi Hyo-je, who is in charge of choreographing for NCT and The Boyz is responsible for the "Generation" choreo, increasing the level of perfection to fit the vibe of a 'new generation'.
Background vocals and ad-libs were provided by ADORA.[1]
