ROAD CONSTRUCTION – DETOUR

MDOT will be reconstructing the US-31 and 3-Mile intersection. As part of this project, 3-Mile will be closed from US-31 south to approximately Pine Grove Avenue. The detour route will utilize Parsons Road to Airport Access Road to US-31 and is anticipated to be in place for approximately five weeks.
The Northwest Regional Airport Authority is actively pursuing design, development, and funding to improve the community’s airport. The airport also desires to update key existing portions of the terminal, improve the passenger experience, integrate stakeholder and tenant objectives, and take advantage of potential funding opportunities.
Destinations include Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis−Saint Paul, Denver, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington DC (Dulles and Reagan), Newark, Philadelphia, New York (LaGuardia), Boston, Phoenix-Mesa, Punta Gorda, St. Pete-Clearwater, Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando.
