Did you catch our latest blog post on our rewarming machine? 👀
With our magnet, a kidney can successfully traverse the danger zone of ice formation in under a minute, using only a few kilowatts. That means it can operate off of standard hospital outlets⚡️

The central challenge of cryopreservation was never just preservation, it’s also safely coming back. Until Mark 1 shows organ-scale rewarming no longer needs industrial power budgets. A real step toward cryopreservation in transplant centers.

We had such a lovely time meeting everyone last night at our screening of Anwar. Grateful to @FawazAM and @huntercoledavis for an incredible Q&A, and to everyone who came out with such thoughtful questions and curiosity 🧠✨

I'm excited to introduce Mark 1, Until's electromagnet for rapidly rewarming organs from cryogenic storage temperatures. We set out to scale magnetic nanoparticle warming to human-scale organs while keeping the coil losses low enough for hospital use. Mark 1 produces a 900 kHz

If you're eager to shape what comes next, don’t miss this! Come meet the Until Labs team at our screening of Anwar in SF on May 13.
Film & conversation with people thinking seriously about the future. Link to the application form is below.
We’re hosting a screening of Anwar on May 13th in SF in hopes of meeting high caliber individuals who our interested in joining our mission.
Anwar is a sci-fi short film that explores how two humans grapple with life-altering technology.
We’ll be joined by director @FawazAM for

we’ve been filming the beauty of organ preservation research at @untillabs for a while now. it’s not an explainer or company video, it’s a window into how it feels to work on this problem from the inside.
We’re hosting an intimate evening with researcher and writer @tobyshorin to discuss the future of bodies. Required reading is in the link below.
There’s limited space available, so fill out the google form (also below) if you’d like to join!
We’re excited to welcome Dr. Gerald Brandacher as our Chief Medical Officer at Until Labs! 👏 🎉
A pioneer in transplant surgery, Dr. Brandacher brings decades of leadership at the forefront of transplant technology. His work has focused on extending organ viability and
"We distill our challenge to a single, elegant first principle: pause molecular motion in every organelle, in every cell, in every tissue of a human organ, then resume it."
