With the current popularity of music streaming platforms, playlist curation is one of the only opportunities for an artist to increase their exposure and audience. Big companies seem to only trust in algorithms to recommend music, so user curated playlists are, more than ever, a necessary tool to keep a human touch in the streaming platforms ecosystem and to look out for talent that often algorithms leave out of the equation.

But playlist curation is a peculiar work. While remote work is a commodity, it turns most of us into isolated individuals, too weak to speak up. Our position is often fragile, with strong dependencies to third-parties and their unilateral decisions. And for many of us, there's a vague feeling that any sudden blow can throw all our efforts from the last months or years in a matter of seconds. That there's nobody that has our back.

This association was born to change that. Its purpose is to connect and assist playlist curators around the globe. To offer a safe place to discuss, to share information, concerns and tools, to build some community awareness and to grow in strength to be able to defend our interests.

The bigger the community, the bigger the opportunities and the chances to get heard by other actors, so join and tell any other playlist curator about us!
