Remove image backgrounds instantly, right in the browser. Uses WebGPU and WASM-based AI models for fast, accurate cutouts — no upload to any server. Great for product photos, sprites, compositing or quick cleanup before texturing.
Open BG RemoverBrowser tools for 3D, VR, AR and image creation
We are a team of independent indie developers. We build free, single-file browser tools for 3D creators, game artists, VR/AR developers and anyone who works with textures, images or immersive content. Every tool runs locally in your browser — your files never leave your device.
Your files stay yours
Every tool processes data locally using WebGPU, WebGL2 or WASM. Nothing is uploaded to any server. No account needed, no tracking of what you create.
Open a tab, start working
No install, no dependencies, no waiting. Each tool is a single HTML page that loads fast and works in any modern browser — desktop or mobile.
Built for real workflows
These are tools we needed ourselves as 3D/VR developers. PBR textures, depth maps, mocap, AR — practical utilities, not tech demos.

Browser tools — ready to use
Each tool is free, requires no account, and processes everything on your device. Click any card to open the tool directly.
Generate depth maps from any image using local AI inference. Useful for parallax effects, 3D photo conversion, XR scene building, or as input for image generation pipelines like ControlNet. All processing stays on your machine.
Open Depth Map BuilderInject GPano / XMP 360° metadata into panoramic and stereo images so they display correctly on Facebook, Google Photos and VR viewers. Supports batch processing and ZIP export — useful for photographers and VR content creators.
Open FB 360 InjectorGenerate a full PBR texture set — normal, roughness, metallic, AO, height, emissive — from a single source image. Preview materials in real-time with Babylon.js (ACES, bloom, SSR) and export as ZIP or GLB. Over 40 material presets included.
Open PBR GeneratorTurn any image into a tileable, seamless texture using a WebGL2 Laplacian pyramid blending pipeline. Designed for game artists and 3D creators who need repeatable surfaces for environments, materials, and procedural content.
Open Seamless Texture MakerBatch color and tonality transfer between images, plus a built-in palette extractor with named color lookup. Useful for achieving consistent color grading across texture sets, concept art, or game asset batches.
Open Color MatchConvert PBR texture sets to GPU-compressed KTX2 format using Basis Universal (WASM). Preview results in real-time with Babylon.js, then export optimized assets as ZIP — essential for shipping lightweight WebXR and game content.
Open KTX2 ConverterA WebXR drawing and 3D sketching app with real-time physics (Havok), multiple materials, dual-hand drawing, audio feedback, and GLB export. Works in VR headsets (Quest) and AR on supported devices. Think "Gravity Sketch in the browser."
Open WEB AR GravitySplit sprite sheets into individual frames for game engines, animation previews, or asset pipelines. Drop in a sheet, set grid dimensions, export individual PNGs. Fast and straightforward.
Open Sprite SplitterConvert and compress audio files directly in the browser — OGG, MP3, WAV and more. Perfect for preparing audio assets for games, WebXR experiences and web projects. No upload, no server processing.
Open Audio ConverterAn immersive VR gallery for viewing stereo and 3D images. Browse collections in a spatial environment using WebXR — works on VR headsets and in flat-screen mode. A demo of what browser-based VR presentation can look like.
Open VR GalleryCapture human motion from video or webcam using MediaPipe pose tracking, then retarget it onto a humanoid GLB model. A "mini Mixamo" running entirely in the browser — no server, no account. Export animated GLB files ready for game engines or WebXR.
Open Video MocapWhat we're building next
These projects are in various stages of development — some are prototypes, some are ideas we're exploring. If something here interests you, let us know on Discord or GitHub.
Room Generator
Create simple architectural spaces — walls, floors, doors, windows — for VR/AR scene prototyping. Export to GLB.
Texture Atlas Generator
Combine multiple textures into optimized atlases for games and WebXR, reducing draw calls and improving performance.
Material Converter
Convert texture and material setups between Blender, Unity, Unreal, Godot and glTF/Babylon workflows.
PWA Generator
Auto-generate manifest.json, service worker, icons, and install button to turn any WebVrDev tool into a Progressive Web App.
Texture Pack Builder
Bundle PBR maps with previews and metadata into a ready-to-use ZIP or GLB package for distribution.
HDRI / Cubemap Tools
Prepare environment maps, cubemaps and HDRI-style assets for lighting 3D/WebXR scenes.
Procedural Texture Generator
Generate procedural textures, patterns, noise and materials directly in the browser for rapid prototyping.
Material Preview
Preview materials and textures in interactive 3D using Babylon.js, Three.js or WebXR — see exactly how they look before exporting.
GLB + HTML Package Exporter
Export a complete, self-contained package: GLB model, textures, and an HTML viewer with built-in Babylon.js scene.
Blender ↔ WebVrDev Bridge
A Blender add-on or workflow connector to move assets between Blender and WebVrDev tools seamlessly.
SVG / Image → 3D
Convert SVG shapes or flat images into extruded, game-ready 3D assets.
SBS Stereo Generator
Generate side-by-side stereo images from 2D sources using depth-based parallax for VR viewing.
AutoRig Marker System
Place joint markers manually on a 3D model (head, hands, elbows, knees, feet, hips), then auto-generate a skeleton for animation.
About
Who builds this & why
WebVrDev is a project by a team of independent indie developers based in France. We build browser-based tools because we needed them ourselves — and because we believe powerful creative software shouldn't require installs, accounts, or sending your files to someone else's server.
Every tool is a single HTML file (or a small set of files) that runs entirely on your device using modern web APIs: WebGPU, WebGL2, WebAssembly, WebXR. The tech stack leans on Babylon.js and Three.js for 3D, MediaPipe for AI/ML inference, and standard web technologies for everything else.
We also work with AI image generation (ComfyUI, FLUX, SDXL) and explore new ways to bring advanced creative workflows directly into the browser — no servers, no dependencies, no friction.
