Katy is a Registered Nurse who completed her honours degree in Adult Nursing in England, her background is primarily in Neuroscience which includes but is not limited to stroke medicine, Neuro/Spinal Critical Care, and Headache services within the National Health Service (NHS).

She has also worked as part of the mass vaccination program for COVID-19 and within social care (intermediate care, residential and nursing care homes), worked internationally, and recently completed a Professional Diploma in Tropical Nursing via the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has also spent some time volunteering with various projects. Katy also likes to solo travel in her spare time.
