Eligibility

Any student enrolled in a secondary school institution for the 2022-2023 school year is eligible to participate, subject to regulations set by the hackers' locations' authorities. Hackers who are not enrolled in secondary schools may still apply

Project and Submission Requirements

Projects may be submitted in three different forms

  • Valid URL of the project 
  • Video submission
  • Detailed Presentation in either PowerPoint or Google Slide

All projects must be hosted on Replit!

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

  • Technical Complexity
    Did you just glue a bunch of APIs together, or was the process of building your product a technically-intensive one?
  • Practicality
    Does your product address a real problem or improve people's lives in some way? You don't necessarily have to cure global poverty, but it is important that people find your product useful in some way
  • User Experience and Visual Appeal
    Is your product aesthetically pleasing? Is it relatively easy to use?
  • Usability
    Can your product be used out of the box?
  • Creativity
    How innovative is your solution?
