What are Sealomimis?

Sealomimis are a seal-inspired fluffy humanoid species, with a focus on speculative biology and evolution in our lore! They originate from cold climates near coastal areas but have evolved to suit or have accommodations to support a variety of living styles. They adorn thick coats to guard against cold waters and blubber that keeps them warm all year around. All Sealomimis have an orb at the base of their tails called the Pearl and made of a type of keratin called Pearlescense. Sometimes, excess Pearlescense may deposit into the color of the irises or accumulate on their heads as horns.
