Software Version Support Policy
Policy Statement
Synami provides technical support, maintenance, and software updates exclusively for the latest generally available version of each product. Prior versions are not covered under active support, and Synami is under no obligation to provide bug fixes, patches, compatibility updates, or technical assistance for any superseded release.
Only the current production release of each Synami product is eligible for support. Customers running older versions are strongly encouraged to upgrade.
Scope
This policy applies to all software products developed and distributed by Synami, including but not limited to ScheduleReader, ScheduleCleaner, Seavus Project Viewer, iMindQ and any associated tools or utilities. It governs all forms of support, including:
- Technical support and troubleshooting
- Bug fixes and security patches
- Compatibility updates for third-party platforms and operating systems
- Feature enhancements and product improvements
- Documentation and knowledge base maintenance
Rationale
Concentrating development and support resources on the latest version allows Synami to deliver higher-quality updates, faster response times, and stronger security for all customers. It also ensures that our support team can provide accurate and consistent guidance based on a single, current codebase.
Customer Obligations
Customers are responsible for maintaining their installations on the latest available version. Synami publishes release notifications through its standard communication channels. Failure to update to the current version may result in the inability to receive support or resolve known issues that have already been addressed in a newer release.
Version Lifecycle
Upon the general availability of a new product version, the previously supported version enters an end-of-support state. From that point forward, no further patches, fixes, or technical support will be issued for the prior version. Synami does not maintain a formal extended-support or long-term-support program for any of its products.
