- read through the monad docs on coinbase for the ico. is it the first time a major l1 discloses its mm operators, size, and durations? if so, pretty huge no?
- so here's an interestng thing about solana: most validators only exist because the solana foundation "spawned" them each bar on the chart equals one validator, and the height shows the percentage of total stake that is coming from the foundation the data is a bit old, but it's
- Ethereum quietly just published a flex. The new Institutions site lays out, in one place, what the rest of us have been seeing: Ethereum has become the backbone of the onchain economy. A few stats that hit hard: -- 10.2 years of uninterrupted uptime. Zero downtime, ever. -- 11/ Now live: the Ethereum for Institutions site Ethereum is the neutral, secure base layer where the world's financial value is coming onchain Today, we’re launching a new site for the builders, leaders, and institutions advancing this global movement
00:00 - if there's ever a book on @arbitrum, i for sure want to read the chapter on robinhood not many knows the challenges @ajwarner90 and the team faced to pull this off. i'm familiar with the timeline, but it's still a bit of a guessing game where the deal is at any given momentYou didn’t think we’d just announce new products, did you? The Robinhood Chain is currently being built on @arbitrum to power the future of asset ownership. #RobinhoodPresents rbnhd.co/ToCatchaToken
- This is the most bullish thing for Ethereum. The recent wave of big fintechs (Stripe, Circle) launching their own L1s isn’t a sign that the L2 thesis is dead. It’s the clearest signal yet that the world is splitting into two camps: Infinite censorship resistance /or/ ZeroL2 thesis is dead. Tether, Stripe, Circle all launching their own L1s to compete with Ethereum. Rollup security guarantees don’t matter when you’re using fiat stablecoins or other RWAs. Because those assets are centralized anyway.
- Oh god, Stanford blockchain class drama 🤣 1 hour before the last project was due, a node reorg-ed 300-ish blocks and (probably) posted this on the discussion forum. Now, people may not get credit bc they got reorg'ed. Best last lesson tho.
- some rant: most traders and even builders, like 80%, maybe 95%, have no clue why decentralization matters. to them it’s just “how many nodes.” they don’t think about governance, decision making, or what happens when a network breaks and nobody’s left who actually understands it.Time and again I see people overthink L1 valuations. The only difference between $1400 ETH and $5000 ETH was Bitmine. In April Ethereum was a dying platform. Today it’s the stablecoin chain and the next “Bitcoin-like” opportunity for institutions. Price leads narratives so
- This one foundation is 70% of all the validators combined 💪💪💪This one chain is 70% of ethereum and all the L2s combined. 🦾🦾🦾
- these guys were clowning on uni on the fee switch so i was expecting some era-defining announcement today instead we got: merge 2 tokens into 1 + launch on circle’s chain + eth mainnet the wild part is you only get to do that in nyc because uni + their investors spent years inA single exchange––one that unifies liquidity, connects every network, and powers applications everywhere. One that can infinitely scale horizontally & vertically. With MetaDEX03 we finally have the OS to make that vision a reality: Introducing Aero. Coming soon to @ethereum.
