- We can beat the heat through growing more indigenous trees and protection of our wetlands. This is the simplest way. It’s possible!
- I congratulate Serena Uganda for moving away from plastic water bottle to glass bottle. This is the way to go. I call upon other facilities to follow suit. We must beat plastic pollution. Bravo @serenahotels for embracing sustainability.
- There seems to be a lot of hullabaloo about trash bins in cars. Regulation 33 of SI 49 of 2020 only requires public service vessels to have waste receptacles as a MUST in addition to no littering. Private vehicles are only required not to litter. Let’s embrace #LitterfreeUG
- Earlier today, I presented a paper at the the Special Forces Command Officers symposium, on the Role of Defense Forces in Climate Change and Environment Security. I thank the @cdfupdf and the CIC @KagutaMuseveni for professionalizing the @MODVA_UPDF
- Earlier today, I joined ATC team to inspect newly installed green technology mast. Zero emissions, zero noise, no visual intrusion. @nemaug we aim at ensuring that all telecom masts are safe, blend with environment, use renewable energy and are noise free.
- Well done @UgandaCAA. Going through Entebbe is so seamless. The service is much more efficient than most European airports. COVID 19 PCR is $30 dollars whereas in UK it’s about $135. Results emailed in minutes. The world needs to @visit_Uganda and experience this good service.
- Am greatly indebted to HE @KagutaMuseveni for Awarding me a National Heroes Medal-Diamond Jubilee Medal for outstanding service and loyalty to the Nation. Thank you Almighty God; and women and men in environment conservation for your tireless efforts.
- I wish to assure Ugandans that environmental and social impacts of Tilenga, Kingfisher and EastAfrican Crude Oil Pipeline projects were assessed by @nemaug using globally accepted standard approach of avoidance, minimization, restoration and offset mechanism.
