Canadians deserve to be safe and feel safe. I have pushed for the elements in the Combatting Hate Act since 2024 and today the Bill has been adopted by the House and Senate. Next step is implementation. This means training of police & prosecutors & enforcement across the country.

On Saturday evening it was a pleasure of to celebrate the 128th anniversary of the independence of the Philippines at FAMAS’ annual Filipino Independence Gala. It was great to join MNA @elisabethprass and retired Snowdon councillor @MarvinRotrand and many community leaders.
