We all have a responsibility to call this absolute shite out. Our United Kingdom (aka HOME!) is better than this. 🇬🇧

I voted in person today. As I travelled back to my wife and our family, my father in law died. I’m very, very sad that I wasn’t with Al but I am thankful for the wonderful man that he was and the wisdom he shared (and approval he gave.. 🤣). May his memory be a blessing.
Parliament is about to vote on the Assisted Dying Bill. I tried so hard to find a way for my vote to be counted so I could stay with my family. It beggars belief that this wasn’t possible. As such, I have just arrived at the House of Commons to vote against this Bill.

Tomorrow we will vote on the Assisted Dying Bill. I’ve heard from hundreds of constituents, launched an online survey & met campaigners for & against. We all want dignity in death but I don’t believe this Bill will provide for that. I’ll be voting against the Bill. #LoveNuL

Biggest thing about clip of the Duke leaving hospital is the Black nurse whose hand he shook and who nursed him so he could go home. Our emergency services wouldn’t function without immigration from the world over. Fact. Celebrate it.

I’ve been in the Chamber since 09:30 & will be till we vote. This is so important. I’ve read every single amendment and every email/letter/message from my constituents. I voted against in November and remain opposed to the Bill. My votes today will reflect that view.
The House is now sitting. MPs will begin by debating the remaining stages of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill. ⬇️ Watch today's proceedings live:

It was an immense honour to enter Parliament today and start to get things ready to serve the people. A busy few days ahead before getting 🚝 back to ST5 later this week. #LoveNuL
