Excited to share our latest work published today in @NatImmunol! π Together with Taja Vatovec, we investigated how somatic CBL deficiency affects B cell development and function.
1/ Exactly one year after my PhD defense, I am very excited to share with you the last chapter of my thesis published today in @Nature about humans with inherited TNF deficiency: nature.com/articles/s4158β¦.
I am beyond excited to share the main project of my PhD @casanova_lab which is now
out @CellCellPress (doi.org/10.1016/j.cellβ¦). We describe how human CCR2 deficiency leads to impaired monocyte recruitment to the lung, resulting in pulmonary alveolar proteinosis.
1/ We are excited to report the discovery and mechanistic exploration of human AR complete CCR2 deficiency in @CellCellPress. Surprisingly, CCR2 deficiency underlies two narrow phenotypes: progressive polycystic lung disease and mycobacterial disease (sciencedirect.com/science/articlβ¦).
Happy to share my first PhD paper investigating the mechanism by which human PKCD deficiency underlies susceptibility to infectious disease. Published today in @JExpMedbit.ly/36K8QKV@casanova_lab
We wrote a review! π Digging into autoimmunity against immunity, which is often (but not only π) results in susceptibility to infectious diseases!
Happy to share that I received the @EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowship @EMBOFellows to continue my work with @bloodgenes to decipher mechanisms underlying B cell leukemia and B cell deficiencies! π₯³
Ever wondered how to differentiate monocytes towards alveolar macrophage-like cells?
Together with @SusantaPahari4 we wrote up a detailed protocol to guide you through all critical steps: star-protocols.cell.com/protocols/3461
Happy to share our latest report on a new clinical manifestation in p40phox deficiency! There is still so much to learn!
Great work together with @casanova_lab@BustamanteJaci1@LevyRomain and others who are not yet on twitter.
Leaving this years #ESID2024 meeting where i had the chance to present my previous and current work and got to meet many fantastic scientist and friends! Thank you @ESIDsociety for this exciting meeting full of inspiration and I am looking forward to the next one!
Very happy to have contributed some functional validation for this study on the evolution of host defense over the last 10 millennia! @GaspardKerner@QuintanaMurci
