Got a fare check on my ride to downtown St. Paul today. About 5 community service officers and metro transit police got on. Cop offered anyone who hadn’t paid to hop off before they gave out tickets. About 7 people shuffled out.

A personal update: my time with @SahanJournal has ended. I joined Sahan on a year long grant with a goal of creating a beat on climate and environmental justice. I hope we did that and I am proud of the issues we covered. It was an amazing opportunity and I am grateful for it.
