    Today was my last day as Head of English. When I return in January I’ll be Assistant Headteacher for KS3 & joint lead of PP. I’m looking forward to the new challenge, really excited to be working alongside my partner in crime @MrsSpalding and getting to learn from 1/2

    Modelling: I - we - you - we - you. Modelling must be followed by immediate practice. Students need to be able to apply. Do we build time for effective modelling in lessons?Who would we go to in our own areas to see effective modelling? Interesting points @SaysMiss #ResearchedN

    Second reason to be proud of @BemroseSchool. Every KS3 child will receive an art pack in the post to help with learning & support their well-being. The Creatives team moved mountains to turn this round in less than a week. Wish I could see the students’ faces as they open them ☺️

    Looking to change how we assess and report at KS3. Are there any schools who report at KS3 very differently from KS4? Any who do not use KS2 data to form targets? #assessment #reporting
