When an officer dies 'in the line of duty' while protecting the peace and freedoms of this country, their death should be honoured nationally and not forgotten. #fallenofficer #ourhero #abbypdstrong Thank You @iaff1286 FF Griffin for this #masterpiece drawing of Cst Davidson

Late yesterday afternoon another feed truck was able to make it through in the eastern Sumas prairie area. The water levels are still high in many areas, but the truck proceeded through about 18" of water. Thanks to all that made this possible. #strengthincommunity

This morning Fire Chief Lee told a story to the media of a service dog being rescued from Sumas Prairie by Firefighters Tuesday night. Bowser, although cold and wet was reunited with his handler. We're happy we could help.

URGENT PLEA: Within the last hour the water level within the eastern part of the Sumas Prairie is beginning to rise. Roadways that were dry an hour ago, now have flowing water. We are seeing people not respecting barriers and police direction causing public safety concerns.

We shall never forget Constable John Davidson who was shot in the line of duty on 17/11/06 while protecting his community. He made the #ultimatesacrifice and he left behind his wife and three children. #HeroInLife #Never Forget #Courage
