The Telegraph has chosen to explicitly name, while misgendering, myself and other committee members, with random details that they clearly added to increase fury - emitting and ignoring our full comment that mentioned the huge pile-on and harassment we experienced (1/2)

- My friends and I received thousands of hateful and threatening comments, but this didn't seem to bother @Docstockk who thanked and declared her love to the "wonderful" bunch who defend her online. Well, this dangerous hate campaign has resulted in me getting a death threat today.
- This is, for me, the most fundamental problem with the Cass review. It starts with a preconceived, transphobic notion that transition is a terrible epidemic. Transitioning is a wonderful, beautiful, and joyful process, and there is no reason to institutionally decry it like this.A great bit in Cass. "Most young people who take puberty blockers turn out to be trans. This means they aren't properly thinking about if they are trans."
- Replying to @AddiHD02I'll just say: I'm proud of the stances I previously expressed, I'm proud of my research promoting peace in the Middle East, I'm proud to be genderqueer, and I am proud to lead @OULGBTQ. Sorry, haters. telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/04/2…
- Today's the day! We are determined, despite the pile-ons and violent threats we received, to exercise our right to protest, ina joyful celebration of trans joy. We will not shut down the event - free speech is not at stake here; we will, however, stand up to intolerance and hate.Gender-critical academic "determined" to do talk at Oxford Union bbc.in/3WHeWVM
- Replying to @AddiHD02The transphobs try to paint Stock, with her academic position, mass following, and best-selling book, as a victim; and us, an independent society representing a persecuted minority, as assailants. But when it comes down to it, we are the ones who now need to "watch our back".
- Replying to @GlinnerLeave my boyfriend alone, Graham. I know you may hate to see such queer love and joy, but I believe you can do better this bullying.
- Stock aspires to have an image of a polite, respected academic, and not a hateful TERF. But have a look at the reactions to this statement, incited by her tweet - it is pure hate, threats, homophobia, and transphobia, including attempts to personally target and dox me.This Post is from a suspended account. - Breaking now: more than 100 @UniofOxford scholars and staff members stand by @OULGBTQ in our right to protest and for trans rights. Proud to have written and organized this letter, and I'm overwhelmed and emboldened by the support it received >>>Oxford split over Kathleen Stock's invite to Union debate bbc.in/3OKf596
- All set up after an incredible first day at @OxfordStudents! It's a privilege to spend the next year here working for all students, and particularly to be the first ever trans Oxford SU President - at such a difficult time for trans rights in the UK, representation really mattersToday (24 June) is the start of Addi Haran Diman's Presidency of Oxford SU for 2024-25. Watch Addi reflect on her time at Oxford LGBTQ+ Society, her work to build community and foster inclusion, and how her experiences have transformed her: bit.ly/4bh3PbP @oxfordstudents
- Replying to @rose_zoe_One advantage is that there is no point in hiding any more. The abuse is now inevitable, so we might as well speak up - bring it on!
- Replying to @AddiHD02This has been reported to the police. I see some who echo the the letter, equating it to our statement on Stock; I'll just say - look at the date, it was written in response to Oxford Trans+ Pride, a celebration of trans lives & joy. - Proud of our @OULGBTQ Society for being such a resilient, strong queer community, and for standing for the right of Oxford trans students to exist in peace. We will prevail.
- Kathleen Stock is bringing her attack on trans people to the Oxford Union, and we will not stay silent. There is nothing that the TERFs hate and are confused by more than trans joy! Come join us, and reach out to me if you'd like to help! This Post is from a suspended account. Learn more
