- Must be bloody awful watching your team never finish lower than 7th in a country with thousands of football clubs, while spending close to a billion quid on world class players, winning 5 trophies and playing in a 75,000 seater stadium. - Over 770,000 people attended a football match in the top 4 divisions this weekend. 2 invaded a pitch. (0.00026%) The BBC just published the opinion of an ex-player who says we need armed police at football. (The novel idea of "train your stewards properly" wasn't mentioned)
- Black lives matter. And yes, white lives matter and all lives matter. No-one disagrees But black people face institutional systematic racism every day. White people don't. Trying to elevate your non-existant struggle to that same level is downright offensive and, yes, racist.
- The reformatted EFL Trophy was meant to assist in youth development and ‘rejuvenate’ the competition. Instead it’s just a pathetic and pointless waste of everyone’s time.
