- Cardiothoracic surgeon Arman Kilic, M.D., Director of the MUSC Harvey and Marcia Schiller Surgical Innovation Center, has been awarded a $1.9M NIH R01 grant to research improving the heart transplant process with AI. bit.ly/47Birld

- Spectacular @OfficialSTSA annual meeting. Gala dinner started off with President @SteveYangMD riding in on a horse and ended with @DevenPatelMD @AliceLiZhou @HopkinsCTSurg getting some well deserved recognition.
- August is my favorite month. The transition between graduating CT fellows and incoming CT fellows is an exciting time. Mix of emotions: reflection, gratitude and unbridled enthusiasm for the future. Make it a good one!
