You’re reading my last post on this hate-addled pipe of septicaemia. Goodbye all!

Film pitch.. Trump drugged and moved to a replica Whitehouse, where he carries on thinking he’s governing. Millions spent on hiring actors to play his staff, Senators, news anchors, people at rallies. There you go. Studios, your highest bid please.

18-24 year olds. I beg you on my gnarled and brittle knees; register to vote, and then vote. A solid 18-24 vote will make a big difference.

It looks like we might be moving from the Pandemic to Endemic phase of Downing St apologies, and will just have to learn to live with them on a daily basis.

Back of my Polling Card for local elections. For 1st time, photo ID is required. Card gives many options for elderly or those with disability. None, NONE, for younger or student voters. The policy is simply biased against younger voters, designed to suppress their vote.

Ok, two things. 1) Truss will be gone pretty soon. And 2) Conservative Party members should never again have the final say on who is Prime Minister of our country.

Has the @bbc actually analysed @GaryLineker’s tweet? Because it is factually accurate. A lot of the tropes used now by Govt: ‘invasion’, ‘menace’ etc, are pretty similar to those used by nationalist parties in 1930s Germany. Why no analysis? Are BBC history presenters muted too?

If caught speeding today, use these words. ‘I have the highest regard for the police force, but I think their decision is wrong. Though I will respect it, what’s important now is that I get to my destination as quickly as possible.’

First you come for @Channel4 because you don’t like its reporting of events. Now you come for the BBC because you don’t like its reporting of events. Have you ever considered whether it’s the events themselves that are the problem?
This licence fee announcement will be the last. The days of the elderly being threatened with prison sentences and bailiffs knocking on doors, are over. Time now to discuss and debate new ways of funding, supporting and selling great British content. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

In fairness to both Matt Hancock and Boris Johnson, at the start of the pandemic there were a lot of difficult choices to be made pretty quickly, such as whether to give a big contract to a friend or to the wife of a friend.

I rather admire the way the EU is defending Ireland’s interests. They really do look after their member states. We should join.
