- Enormous security queue in Berlin airport. Police officer eventually shouts “EU citizens come this way”. All the Irish/EU citizens move to fast track automation. Hundreds of UK citizens left fuming Some Irish lad shouts “yis should never have voted for f**ckin Brexit” 😅
- A lot of Americans in Ireland, particularly those in business, can’t seem to comprehend why Ireland is so aghast at watching one country starve another. Read a history book.
- Iran didn’t start this war. Netanyahu did. Iran didn’t escalate this war. Trump did. Iran is not breaking international law, the US and Israel are. Why would Iran agree to “disavow the development of nuclear weapons now”?There is an urgent need for de-escalation, dialogue & diplomacy in the Middle East. Iran should unequivocally disavow the development of nuclear weapons. A negotiated solution is the way forward. We remain in close contact with international partners ahead of the EU Council.
