Musci cruised tonight to the tune of 9 K’s over 5 IP. Throws everything hard & with intent, kept 89-92 over entire outing w the FB. Gets into the backside well w an aggressive drop & drive, CB 77-80 buckled hitters & the CH ~80 to LHH was a weapon. Great look tonight! @ViewBoysGA

Thorpe Musci (‘24, GA) opened up 90-92 & grabbed a couple 93’s early on. Worked the fastball to BS extremely well, threw hard CB ~80 & flashed a CH low 80’s to LHH for whiffs. Loud stuff, just attacks hitters w his mix #WreckHavoc commit #PGHS

Here’s another barrel from Brown tonight, who finished up a causal 3-5 w 4 RBIs & 3 runs scored. Massive night for the #GoDawgs commit… the swing is designed to punish baseballs & he moves extremely well over at 3B too. He was a walking barrel in Hoover… HUGE ‘23 so far!

Ext. look w/ two innings in relief + 3 K’s @ #SEElite. Lean, athletic & proj. build. DH angle from a higher 3/4 slot & lives in lower 1/2. FB up to 92 & paired it with a put-away SL used for 2 K’s. CH seldom flashed today but has shown big feel all summer for it. #Florida commit.

Jimenez has all the making of an SS at the next level. 5’10/175 body, low center of gravity w good bounce and lateral range. Arm plays well/changes slots w quick transfers & looks comfy in the box having a direct stroke w feel for the barrel @Adubb_2 @lanierbaseball #PGHS

& just like that Kamau has become one of, if not THE top uncommitted ‘23 arm in the 🍑 state right now. Insane work ethic, has seen his velo bump 93 in recent starts & has opened games sitting low 90s. Feel to add/subtract on that SL, can turn over a CH; big move! @PG_Uncommitted

Not surprising here… coming off a loud performance here at #WWBA w/ 8.1 IP & 15 Ks with ZERO hits (!!) allowed. Very much deserved #VCU commitment; strong armed RHP up to 91 this week with some more in there, spins disgusting 2800+ breakers at will. Congrats!

Here’s more of Harris. Ingredients are there… strong kid that gets to 91 w ease, didn’t clock below 88 on FB over multiple frames. Takes a lot off the CB around 72/3, maintains arm speed & gets late downer bite when right. #78 RHP in the nation @PG_Georgia @bwoodbsball #PGHS

He’s hit .514 w/ 14 XBH, a .596 OBP with even K/BB ratio & is only getting stronger… something clicked from ‘22 to ‘23 & he hasn’t slowed down. Coaches take a look, kid can play ⬇️⬇️

Watched Cannon play multiple times now since fall ‘22 & one word summarizes it: ballplayer. Frame profiles perfect to 2B & he has the clock, glovework and range to stick at next level. Always works quality AB, sprays LDs to all fields. Gritty kid, will contribute at next level!

Carroll gutted out a really strong 7 K, 0 ER start over 5.2. The #FSCJ commit dictated the pace, worked his fastball 83-85 to both sides real well & dropped in a hard SL 76/7 that was a whiff machine. Gamer on the bump, did all he could in a tough loss @MHSBSBL #PGHS

Not a ton of 6’3 fourteen year olds w/ this foundation. Ab/avg arm, fine on paths & already is showing some pop potential w wood as he transitions. Consistency is key factor moving forward as it comes off loud when timed up. So young & lots of proj., ez to like.

Brown rolled thru 3 IP w 6 K’s. Big presence on the bump at 6’4 that projects so well, really loose and easy delivery w arm speed. Sat 85+ (T87) w the heat throughout & has a ton of feel for the low 70s curve, can turn a CH over too. Must follow ‘25 RHP @Walton_Baseball #PGHS

‘26 Manuel Guarate (GA) just went into uncharted territory… mammoth shot @ 401 ft. / 100 EV to DEAD CENTER over the batters eye. Eye opening homer, such a simple swing to generate that power too. Ball was still carrying when it cleared. #WWBA @PG_Uncommitted
