- We’re finding out the mayor has contracted for five hundred private security officers this weekend. A company called Monterrey Security. No names or badge numbers on their uniforms so accountability will be very difficult.
- Sadly, have to share that 0 of these dollars are actually coming from the City of Chicago. $4m from anonymous donor. $1m from Open Society Foundation. Facilitated by the Resurrection Project. Only thing the city had to do with this was the press release.
- My office has been investigating the best way to submit Bike Lane Parking Violations for enforcement to the City of Chicago. Here is the best way to submit violations for ticketing:

- As our budget is a reflection of our values and priorities, you should know that the staffing costs of the entire Department of Housing ($1.69m) is less than just the Mounted Unit of CPD ($3.0m)
- I am pleased to announce that the Chicago Department of Transportation will be installing bike lanes on Logan Blvd at Western Ave. This project will bring much needed improvements to drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists in the area. My statement and the plans are below.
- My colleague Alderman Rossana Rodríguez Sánchez and I introduced a call for the City to establish a public bathroom pilot. Every person in Chicago deserves access to clean sanitation infrastructure, and this investment benefits everyone.
