We’re finding out the mayor has contracted for five hundred private security officers this weekend. A company called Monterrey Security. No names or badge numbers on their uniforms so accountability will be very difficult.
Sadly, have to share that 0 of these dollars are actually coming from the City of Chicago. $4m from anonymous donor. $1m from Open Society Foundation. Facilitated by the Resurrection Project. Only thing the city had to do with this was the press release.
