- In my time as a journalist, covering South Africa, I have never witnessed such rampant looting. The sheer scale of it is almost incomprehensible.
- As you are watching the chaotic scenes play out in Parliament, just remember that MP earns no less than R1.1 million per annum, paid by that taxpayer. The public is paying large sums of money for this fiasco.
- BREAKING: Convicted child rapist and sec trafficked Gerhard Ackerman, who ran a child sex abuse ring in Johannesburg has been handed 12 life sentences for the rape and human trafficking of minors.
- Kelly Khumalo’s advocate, who was conducting a watching brief has been excused from sitting in at the #SenzoMeyiwa trial as her client is a State witness. The court said it would reevaluate the matter after Khumalo has testified. @TeamNews24
- BREAKING: Ace Magashule’s former personal assistant, Moroadi Cholota is no longer a State witness in the Free State asbestos corruption case. The State has said she is now a suspect and will be added as an accused to the matter. @TeamNews24
- Grant beneficiaries blasted with water cannons and funerals disrupted by police in the name of regulations, but ANC supports can protest outside of a court? The double standards are glaring.
