What a great success in Libya! Few days we concluded one of the largest TAVI workshop in the region, successfully performed 14 TAVI cases over 4 days with an outstanding outcome using Evolut Pro+ Initiating & Expanding TAVI in this region has been my dream for years. @Medtronic

11th day today, finally no fever for 2 days in a row. Still can't talk due to coughing bouts, but O2 level good on room air. Being discharged now. Thank you everyone for incredible support 🙏🏽and Lots of love ❤️❤️. Still won't be able to 🤗 and 😘 wife and little girl for few days

I am so happy to announce that I accepted a new position at @mercy_health in Paducah Kentucky where I will be serving as Medical Director for Structural Heart Program .. I am very excited to come back to Kentucky and write new chapter in my life and my career.

The best way to fight heart attacks is to be on the front line .. received my 55 years female STEMI patient at the helipad, wheeled her to cath lab, time to stent was 19 minutes.. Love ❤️ what we do even if means sleepless weekend .. one live saved at a time.

Last week was arguably ☝️ of the best weeks in my life. After proctoring #TAVR cases in Houston, submitted 2 papers for publication, presented 3 talks at @CRT_meeting 2022, accepted a new structural position & most importantly, I became a US citizen after 14 years in USA 🇺🇸

Rare but Important condition to recognize in TAVR world; ----- Management of Suicidal LV after #TAVR is similar to that of HOCM: ⬆️preload with IVF ⬆️afterload – phenylephrine is the pressor of choice 🚫inotropes and consider treating with neg inotropes such as BB/CCB

Proud to be part of this .. First-in-human report of percutenous repair TEVAR of Ascending Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm “ATAA” using minimalist approach with conscious sedation/local anesthesia in 79-year-old M who couldn’t undergo surgical repair d/t to high risk co-morbidities.

Prior to October 2020, my hospital had zero structural case history. Since then, we did 25 #TAVRs,including Perc. Axillary TAVR, valve in valve with fractures,#TMVR ViV, started #MitraClip,PFO closure & Watchman programs. 1st radial to peripheral & 1st TEVAR Big transformation 💪

This is literally a surgical embolectomy without opening the chest, saddle Pulmonary Embolism treated with @InariMedical, urgent embolectomy, No lytics, immediate hemodynamic improvement, with hospital discharge in 24 hours. Pulmonary Embolism is the 3rd leading cause of death

There’s nothing more rewarding than saving a life .. Left main STEMI causing cardiac arrest, 7 DC shocks & Cardiogenic shock was saved by great teamwork, skillful & dedicated co-workers. Good CPR & promptly placing Impella CP & primary PCI,Impella explanted/extubated same day 💪.
