- A few years ago, I planted a forest in the dry Cholistan desert with active support from Ahmed Aizaz. Today, not only have the trees flourished, but the area has become a thriving habitat for many bird species. This short reel is from this evening — nature reclaiming its space.
00:00 - 1. Travelled to Peshawar to meet SSG mujahid Israr Mohammad who saved Ambassador Ubaid Nizamani's life during an assassination attempt on 2 December '22 in Kabul. He took bullets as he shielded the Ambassador & responded to fire despite receiving bullets in the chest and leg.
- 1. Sepoy Israr Mohammad, who took bullets on chest to protect our Ambassador in Kabul was evacuated to CMH Peshawar last night by a special plane. Israr displayed extraordinary courage & devotion to duty: salute to this brave son of the soil - a true mujahid. Get well soon Israr!

00:00 - Cabinet has approved new Visa Policy for Afghan citizens. Acquiring visas will be easy for Afghan visitors with multiple entry visit visas and long term business, investmemt and student visas. A new category of health visa is also introduced which will be issued on border.
- Just received a high level Afghan political leadership delegation including Speaker Ulusi Jirga Mir Rehman Rehmani, Salah-ud-din Rabbani, Mohammad Yunus Qanooni, Ustad Mohammad Karim Khalili, Ahmad Zia Massoud, Ahmad Wali Massoud, Abdul Latif Pedram, and Khalid Noor.
- Congrats: first transit consignment to Central Asia passed through Ghulam Khan crossing yeserday. This route is the shortest between Pakistan's coast & Afghanistan & beyond. Residents of Khost province celebrated this development which will create jobs in Khost & N Waziristan.
- Pakistan chaired the virtual meeting of Special Representatives of neighboring countries of Afghanistan. Colleagues from 🇮🇷 🇨🇳 🇹🇲 🇺🇿 🇹🇯 were unanimous that peace in Afghanistan is vital for security, stability and prosperity of the entire region.
- The first TIR carnet reached Uzbekistan within 48 hrs of leaving Torkham crossing. I am grateful for the cooperation of Afghan authorities which made this transit operation effcient. By cooperating with each other our two nations would achieve economic development togather.
- Government has released Rs.1.551 billion to HEC to meet expenses of Afghan students who are studying under Pakistan's scholarship program. This important program for Afghan youth was starving for resources over last several months due to paucity of funds.
