He is fighting to save the lives of others, he is putting his life at risk to do so - he could have left but he didn't, that speaks to the man he is he is - you care about what he's wearing, that speaks to the man you are.

Dear Ms. Flores: I represent Frida - that which you assert is evidence is circumstantial at best - in fact, we believe that Frida was framed - please cease and desist any further defamation - we shall be in touch about damages (treats!) owed my client - thank you - and hi.

Dear @Saints Marcus Williams - my name is Amy and I spent almost 30 years in the NFL so I know how badly this hurts - this need not define you - go be your best and shine your brightest - I shall be rooting and cheering for you.

When I joined the @Raiders there was no discussion about women in executive roles in sports and when I attended my first @NFL meeting there were no other women in the room - while I can no longer celebrate his birthday with him, I shall always celebrate him - thank you Al.

Dear @TSA employees who have been working since the shutdown: thank you not only for your professionalism and commitment during rough and tough and unfair circumstances but for your grace and friendliness - I appreciate you.

    Oh Cam, don’t worry - I don’t talk routes - I talk man v zone, single high safety, 3 man rush, 4-3 v 3-4 - lemme know if you need a hand.
    You know who’s really good talking about routes? @Andrea_Kremer, @AmyTrask, @tiffblackmon, Pam Oliver, @LauraOkmin, @saltersl ...

Psst NFL: if the rationale for denying this request was “then we’d have to do it for everyone,” that’s silly - a policy of “if you earn a graduate degree (MD, JD, PhD, etc.) and want it on your jersey, we’ll do it” is a great message to send - you’re welcome.

I wonder what the cost would be to keep the network up tomorrow - the league could pay it and whatever the cost, it would be divided by 32 owners - that would be a nice thing to do.
American Forces Network, which had been scheduled to show the AFC and NFC Championship Game to American military overseas, was taken off the air when the government shut down wp.me/p14QSB-awaD

It is intellectually dishonest to admonish athletes who share thoughts as to how they believe we can make the world better to “stick to sports” but to maintain that they should be “role models” - that’s what they’re doing - civil discourse is how we can problem solve.

If you adopted a pup or a cat during the pandemic and now don’t want him or her anymore: (a) I don’t like you; (b) do not “dump” the pup or cat, bring him or her to a no kill rescue shelter; and (c) I don’t like you so much that I’m not going to say hi to you.

We often think “were I in such and such a situation, here’s what I’d do” - but thinking one would sacrifice one’s life to save others is one thing, doing so when put to the test is another - the word hero is often misused - he is a hero.
It is with Great sadness that our Football Family has learned about the death of Aaron Feis. He was our Assistant Football Coach and security guard. He selflessly shielded students from the shooter when he was shot. He died a hero and he will forever be in our hearts and memories

Conversation in coffee spot earlier today: Guy in front of me: 18 is too young to play in the NBA; Me: we let kids enlist in the armed forces at 18; Guy in front of me: that’s different the NBA is serious business; Me: stunned speechless - got coffee - left.
