    I dug in to Musk's dismantling of USAid because it shows his playbook for capturing the whole federal government. What surprised me was his direct involvement in the operation. For example, he demanded suspension of 57 career officers by phone last Monday.

    Useful @guardian map showing how much of the territory Putin is “annexing” isn’t even under Russian control. The total territory is about 15% of Ukraine and includes major cities. Under Russia’s amended constitution, no Kremlin leader can cede territories once they are annexed.

    Just saw Russian air ticket site @aviasales has an option for destination: "Wherever I can go". It's definitely getting a workout today as many fearing again that Putin is about to announce mobilization and close the borders.

    A Russian man lit himself on fire at a bus station in Ryazan while yelling he didn’t want to take part in the Ukraine war. Same morning as a military commandant overseeing the draft in a Siberian town was shot. Tensions high in Russia over mobilization.
