Exciting day as I, along with @DefensieMin🇳🇱 and @USAmbRO🇺🇲, inaugurated the F16 Training Center at 86th Fetesti Air Base! This milestone enhances bilateral cooperation, strengthens allied security, prepares 🇷🇴 pilots for the upcoming F16 fleet & gives support to🇺🇦.

I’m proud to announce that our “Carpathian Vipers” detachment—100 personnel and 4 F-16s—has begun an Enhanced Air Policing mission in the Baltic airspace from 🇱🇹. Together with 🇵🇱, we’re strengthening NATO’s Eastern Flank air space until July #StrongerTogether

I commend the recent order placed by the 🇺🇸 Government to @Raytheon for 🇷🇴 Patriot systems. The radars, control stations and missiles that will equip the next 3 Patriot systems for Romania, contracted in 2023, will strengthen Romania’s strategic air defense capabilities.
