- I hate people who are into heavy music on a surface level. Especially with how political and personal a lot of it is. Boiling it down to riffs and being "brutaal" or whatever is no different in my mind than dressing goth or punk for aesthetics only.

The Canadian post-rock band Godspeed You Black Emperor has named their new album "As of February 13, 2024 28,340 dead" referencing casualties in Gaza and chose to release it the week of Oct 7. An Israeli friend, who's a fan of the band, made stickers that give some context to- Rest in peace Mariusz Lewandowski, one of the greatest painters to gain recognition through the metal scene ever. May his art live on and may his memory live on as well as one of the best to ever do it
