Chelsea had a weekly wage bill of over £4million a week last season. It’s now down to just over £2.2 million a week. Is there a world where Boehly has been waiting for Mbappe and giving him £500k to £700k a week is plausible? We would still have lowered our wage bill by over £1

Ipswich used to be amazing back in the day! Late 70’s and early 80’s they were runners up in the league and they won an FA cup. It didn’t last long but for a good 5 years they were a very good team. Madness I know

There is a genuine chance that Chelsea will recoup almost £250 million in player sales this summer. Clearly this isn’t profit and some of the outgoings will be rectifying poor transfers in the first place, but it’s still a very impressive feat.
