    In unprecedented fashion, former Desert Vista High School Head Coach Gino Crump has been reinstated for his job at Desert Vista, after being suspended by the program for almost (3) weeks. Crump addressed friends this evening after learning of the news.

    AZ Compass Prep 6-5 top-rated junior AJ Storr is a superb talent, and came up huge late in the season for AZ Compass. Storr is a very athletic prospect with a nice overall skill level. Storr has given a verbal commitment to the University of Illinois.⁦@AZCompass_Prep⁩

    Desert Vista High School and their school district today made the ridiculous decision today to terminate the employment of Head Coach Gino Crump, for doing nothing more than pushing a player away from a possible altercation. Crump, a former retired fire chief from the East

    Congratulations to former Corona Del Sol High School and Powerhouse Hoops club product Saben Lee on being drafted by the Utah Jazz with the #38 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. And to think how many college programs passed on this young man. Congrats to him and his father Amp Lee!

    #10 nationally ranked AZ Compass Prep smacked #5 Oak Hill Academy, 78-51, in a game where Compass was up 45- 20. AZ Compass was led by Ty Ty Washington (Creighton commit) with 22 points and 7 assists, and 6’9 PF DaRon Holmes Dayton signee) 16 points and 11 rebounds.

    I spent a lot of time with my good friend Andre Miller, long-time NBA vet and marveled at his amazing stories of the late University of Utah legendary Head Coach Rick Majerus, one of the best coaches of all time. Amazing stories. Dre Miller is the most down2earth pro I know.

    The Arizona basketball has lost another valuable member, as my friend and brother Austin Nelms has passed away. It was a very difficult weekend to process, as Austin helped so many youth in the state, and was a genuine human being with a huge heart. He will be surely missed.

    Very proud of Desert Vista HS Head Coach Gino Crump on overcoming a lot this season and winning his first Arizona State Championship. In one of the most emotional seasons I have seen, Crump came back from suspension in the middle of the season to win the elusive 6A State Title.
