    What a special day! I was awarded Member of the Order of Australia for Queens Birthday Honours (2020!) for significant contribution to the environment, to local government and to the community. Covid-19 mean’t no investiture in 2020. It was a long wait, but geez it was worth it!

    Many cities in Australia including @cityofmelbourne are genuinely University cities. Our international students deserve support in these desperate times. They can’t be a cash-cow one minute & left out to dry the next.

    If you’re in a leadership position in 2019 & don’t want to talk about climate change, take action to mitigate climate change, have grown up conversations about serious adaptation to impacts we’re already seeing and don’t ‘believe’ in climate science you should not be in a job.

    Homelessness doesn’t often have a happy ending, but the best news I got from Phil after #FilthyRichHomeless #FilthyRichAndHomeless was that Phil and Lilly got a house. We remain friends to this day. His smile says it all.

    What continues to be wrong with our systems? If we had a world leading tracing, testing & quarantine system why would reopening be delayed? There’s no transparency on strategy, the systems & what next 6months looks like. Start genuinely working with us instead of telling us!
