    The crazy thing about white readers not reading about POC because they “can’t relate” is that readers of color spend their lives not relating to *anything* we read and yet we keep enjoying books anyway

    kids are depressed. there’s nowhere for teens to go, everything is too expensive (the car itself, gas, repairs—even leaving the house costs about 20 dollars minimum). meanwhile, social media is free and allows 24/7 accessible communication with friends so what’s the point?

    Random complaint: It’s gross that when artists are fixing oversexualized female characters, the redesign always, ALWAYS gives them a smaller chest, as if prominent boobs ALWAYS = over-sexualized. Can’t y’all just put them in proper clothing, fix the proportions + go
