    CBC’s van slide off the road & got stuck in a ditch beside the protestors’ camp in Arnprior. A demonstrator named Tyson Garneau wearing a “defund the CBC” hat pulled us out knowing we were CBC journalists. He said he’d never leave anyone stuck like that.

    Garneau says he’s been sleeping in the back of his truck during the ‘freedom convoy’ & arrived at the Arnprior camp today after visiting the camp in Vankleek Hill. He lost his job as a trucker & doesn’t know what comes next but said he wants freedom for his grandkids.

    Ottawa police issue a statement saying they're giving demonstrators notice that they could be arrested for blocking streets & can seize vehicles. If convicted, vehicles could possibly be forfeited & the accused could be denied crossing the U.S. border, police said.

    More than 50 Newfoundland and Labrador's fish harvesters are outside Mark Carney’s rally in St. John’s. Police said they told them to move outside. The front doors are now locked. Carney started his speech saying he wants to acknowledge them and is here to listen.

    Former Canadian Armed Forces sniper "Wali" says he was the last to learn of his own death in Ukraine. Spoke to him this am. He returned from battling Russian forces on the frontlines in the Kyiv region & learned about a Russian disinformation campaign declaring he was killed.

    A female trucker at the gate of the Arnprior camp was friendly, but said they’ve decided no media are allowed inside. She said they are trying to take care of protestors on the site.

    Breaking: Gov't will announce today that starting March 1 fully-vaccinated Canadians will have to show proof of a negative rapid antigen test to return to Canada, CBC News has learned. The PCR testing requirement will be dropped. This is in line with the U.S.
