    We created Adelitas Apparel in 2017, but as we grew as people and as our business expanded, we started to feel limited by our name We wanted something that reflected our community, our mission, our stories, and our identities better so, we've changed our name to Barrio Drive ❤️

    Everyone’s so focused on the ‘so you agree immigrants pay taxes’ gotcha moment, instead of focusing on the fact that immigrants who’ve been paying taxes under the promise of confidentiality from the IRS are now more likely facing the threat and danger of deportation.

    44% of families being held by ICE are Haitian. Their bonds are 54% higher than any other immigrants in detention. Black immigrants are disproportionately vulnerable to deportation. Undocu Black immigrants are part of our community and we are being too silent about it. SPEAK UP.

    Don't be fooled. A Biden win does not mean that we can rest and that everyone is magically safe. Our fight is for all of us. Undocumented and not documented. POC citizens still deal with racism, sexism, homophibia, anf xenophobia. Our people have been targeted by BOTH parties

    As an Undocumented immigrant, it's baffling how easy the word deportation is coming out of everyone's mouth. I don't wish deportation on anyone. I don't wish family separation on anyone. These jokes aren't funny, specially when they are closer to reality than you realize.

    This is so incredibly dehumanizing. Our community is always seen as a joke and meme to be made for statement pieces. Organizations that claim to care and serve our undocumented communities need to do so much better than this. @CHIRLA be better. This is disgusting.

    Attending a protest meant to support immigrants, in light of all the ICE raids, and turning it into a brand photo op is so fucking insensitive. While we are scared of possibly being deported, they are out there monetizing our fears.
