The game is dead if we lose our referees. Maybe the FA should be more concerned about this sort of behaviour, rather than running around measuring changing areas?

Trying to give a little bit of coverage to grassroots football for men & women. Occasional runner of the line for my daughter's team.
- Absolute disgrace. Look at the Irama website. Powered by Ian Rush. We love Grass Roots sports. Doesn't look that way.
The club has withdrawn from the Isthmian League. A full statement has been released on the website theleafe.co.uk/?content=story… 
- The ESL will not kill football. Get down to your local non-league ground, check out grassroots on the local park, just look at the numbers at a local Wildcats session. Football, game of the people, is alive and well. It does not need any greed based leagues. #grassrootsfootball

- Absolutely spot on. Derogatory to the hard work that goes into a lot of non-league grounds (all for love and not money, I might add). I recently visited @BarrowTFC and @holyportfc, both Step 6, both had superb surfaces.

Even if matches are stopped, training should be allowed to continue and venues given dispensation to accommodate it
