- Brennan’s closing is effective. Why? He has the facts and the data. Alan Jackson spewed a bunch of nonsense to confuse the jurors. They wont fall for it. This case is clear. It’s about doing what’s right, and these jurors will.
- Just so we’re clear: 1. Getting published in academic journals is hard. 2. Passing peer review is even harder, it’s what sets exceptional research apart. Shanon Burgess has one peer-reviewed publication, and another journal publication. His educational background is fine.

- No one should ever receive or even seek attention for being a juror of a murder trial. This is something basic I thought most people believed in.
- Why would Karen Read be looking for John outside if she was sure he went inside the house? That is not a reasonable thought to have if you are to believe her lies. What sensible person would look for someone outside who should have been inside the following night? Lies.
